I just an e-mail from my neice and her daughter (one of the twins) is to have open heart surgery. Please put this young lady on your prayer list.

Mandy was examined yesterday at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital and it was determined she will require open heart surgery.  She has several conditions with her heart, some of which preclude her from a less invasive procedure.  She will have a hole (partial AV canal) closed with either her own tissue or some man made fabric.  She will also need to have her mitro valve repaired which is a little more demanding.  Due to her age and health, she is expected to have a 100 percent recovery and theoretically should be healthier than she has ever been.

Bless her heart!  This was posted in June.. Can you tell me, how she is doing now since the surgery.  Is she up and "running".. yes, literally running around as though nothing ever was wrong with her (lol..lol..).  I hope so.  I know it's a while and I'm new here, but I'd like to know if she's alright.

Bless you all tj..I am sure she will come threw it like a trooper.
My niece had this hole closure about 24 years ago and came out like trooper and she was 3 months old and 3 pounds.
My prayers are with you and that sweet baby.
