Photoshop plugins
« on: July 19, 2009, 01:12:52 PM »
What plugins do you use in photoshop?

My favorite at this moment is AV bros. collector www.avbros.com
When i start a LO I open all he elements and papers I like from a kit  an the pictures I like to use. Then I creat a new canvas. use the plugin script to add eveything I have open to my canvas. Every layer has the name of the file, so I can make my credit list. by looking at the layer names.

Do you have a photoshop plugin you use a lot let us know

AV Bros page curl is a great plug in, I use several, everything from machine wash fileters to tile builder. But one filter that works rather well is one that you can't get just anywehre, it is called "Midnight". Just open up several layers of what your working on and then turn Midnight loose on the keyboard. she is very good at creating her own designs.

Okay so I'm just 'unco' when it comes to technology.

I downloaded the AV Bros. Collector 1.0 and the installation instructions say:

How to install AV Bros. Collector 1.0 into Photoshop CS (Windows or Mac OS X):
• Close Photoshop CS.
• Unzip the AVCollector1.0.zip file. (In the archive you will find AV Bros. Collector 1.0.js file.)
• Put AV Bros. Collector 1.0.js into the Photoshop Scripts’ folder (Photoshop CS/Presets/Scripts).
• Start Photoshop. You’ll find the just installed script under the File>Scripts>AV Bros. Collector 1.0.

I can't find a folder for Scripts in my Presets.  I'm using CS3.  Do I have to create a folder for this or is there somewhere else I can install it?

HELP!!  No use having the thing if I can't even install it... :oeps1

@ Zesty: Try to put the file in the presets folder - should work
@ TJ: I have the filter "Midnight", too, but mine is called "Stella" - works fine, but sometimes it closes without saving when done *lol*

I really love  the way your midnight en stella filters work. For such a filter I have to take my laptop over at Anja because she got 5 such filters. I can't have them at home because I am Allergic to those filters  ;lol1
