Been in a car accident
« on: October 07, 2009, 11:33:32 AM »
My car got hit from behind by another car in a tailback in the tunnel, as I drove home from work. The other car was blocking the tunnel but I was able to drive out and pull over. They closed off the tunnel to get the other car out and to allow an ambulance to get to me and the other driver. Neither of us was seriously hurt, but my neck, shoulder and back are rather sore. The ambulance staff said it will get a lot worse yet, I pulled quite a few muscles, as I saw him coming and braced myself for the impact.
But my poor car, my lovely new car....... There is quite a lot of damage.....

Aww Chatty I am so sorry to read about your car accident.  I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery from the accident.  I had a pretty bad wreck myself back in the day, and tore up muscles, in my upper back.  I found a chiropractor, was a huge help in my recovery, using heat massage and nerve impulse stimulation therapy.  Don't be afraid to try what feels like some unconventional therapies, if you need to, to feel better quicker.  Truly was a life saver for me, around 12 yrs. ago.

Thinking of you.  (((HUGS)))
