This page won a blue ribbon at our County Fair - it's a photo from my Mom's 8th grade graduation. Yes, look closely, she is only 13 years old; and yes, I said 8th grade!


I teased her about it ... and threatened to rename the page "Jail Bait" - all she could do was laugh.


I used a few pieces of my new "Making Memories" kit for the page - and overlaid the same photo I restored in the background with a heavy transparency setting and in "soft light".


I wanted a simple page that highlighted her photo and my little note to her. I made this about 18 months before she passed away. I was so glad she got to see it!
